Are you passionate about building strong relationships and achieving ambitious targets?
If so, we are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will focus on supporting the efficient and profitable operation of our Magnet Material & Assemblies (MMA) and Magnetic Filtration product ranges in the UK South region. You will work closely with OEMs, tiered suppliers, and established distributor networks to drive growth and enhance our market presence.
There’s plenty to do in this role. You will be responsible for managing and supporting an assigned customer base, you will maintain and increase sales revenue for our MMA and Filtration product ranges, both with existing customers and by identifying new business opportunities. Researching and approaching OEM opportunities relevant to our Magnetic product range will also be a significant aspect of your role, ensuring we continuously grow our market share.
You will regularly review distributor and dealer performance to ensure the sales territory meets revenue goals, while developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability. You'll conduct area reviews through phone, video conferencing, and in-person visits to strengthen relationships and uncover growth opportunities. Additionally, you will monitor, record, analyse, and report on sales trends, results, and activities, providing recommendations where necessary.
What about you? You will have experience in one or more of the following sectors: industrial products, manufacturing, OEM sales, or distributor/reseller sales. Experience in managing a sales budget, KPIs, and strategy planning is essential, as is a track record of selling to end users, OEMs, and local or national distributors. Strong commercial and industrial knowledge is key, along with skills in prospecting, closing deals, and account management. You'll thrive under pressure, manage your workload efficiently, and have a technically minded, problem-solving approach. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are essential to build relationships at all levels. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office.
