Overview - Alnico Cylindrical Bar Magnet

Alnico Rod Magnets / Alnico Cylindrical Bar Magnets / Alnico Cylindrical Rod Magnets

The Alnico rod magnets are also known as Alnico cylindrical magnets, Alnico cylindrical bar magnets and Alnico cylindrical rod magnets. They can be used at temperatures of up to +1022°F (550°C).

They are termed bar magnets because the distance between the poles is greater than the pole face dimensions (i.e. they are magnetized in the same direction as their longest dimension). The Alnico cylindrical bar magnets are supplied as either red painted or natural finish (uncoated, unpainted).

These Alnico rod magnets are very popular for sensing applications and for experimental use in schools. The Alnico cylindrical bar magnets can be offered in other dimensions and grades as well as colours.

We supply custom made Alnico magnets.
