Employee Spotlight: Neli Toderasca-Ursuleasa

At Eclipse Magnetics, our employees are at the centre of our business, and we want to shine a spotlight on the individuals who make our workplace a thriving and dynamic community.

This month, we caught up with Accounts Assistant, Neli Toderasca-Ursuleasa, to find out more about her life both inside and outside of work.

When did you join Eclipse Magnetics?

I joined Eclipse Magnetics' Accounts Department a little over a year ago now. I began my role as Accounts Assistant on 27th March 2023.

What did you do before joining Eclipse Magnetics?

I worked a variety of different jobs before I joined Eclipse Magnetics. I have been a Receptionist at a travel agency, an Au-Pair in London, an English Teacher in Romania, a Cashier/Dealer at Genting Casino, and a role in Customer Service at Marks & Spencer. Afterwards, I decided to study accounting and joined Eclipse Magnetics as an Accounts Assistant.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The thing about my job is that every day feels like a school day and I love that. I learn a lot, and I love the brain workout that comes with it!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

When it comes to life outside of work, I really enjoy going on trips. In particular, the last-minute trips are my favourite. I love the spontaneity!

Tell us a surprising fact that not many people know about you.

A surprising fact about me that not many people might know is that I like playing high-level sudoku and trying to beat my current record. My best time, in expert level sudoku, is 3 minutes and 47 seconds!

What has been your biggest career highlight so far?

My biggest career highlight to date is a personal achievement that I am very proud of. It would have to be passing my Level 2 exams in Accounting with a score of 95%!

We'd also like to congratulate Neli on passing her latest level 3 accounting exam on Thursday 11th July. She has done brilliantly and is close to completing her course - we couldn't be prouder!
